This morning Lynn flies in from Kuala Lumpur, so after a lazy start I ride out with the car and driver to meet her at the airport and fill her in on all the news and hard won Vietnamese local knowledge.
We spend the afternoon walking a condensed version of the Hanoi tours and I astound Lynn with my newfound knowledge of all things Hanoi. Needless to say, she’s impressed. I think. We round off the day with a gentle introduction to beer corner, followed by dinner at 69 Bar and Café (I’m becoming a regular!).
